What is it?
Advanced Scholars, a program that allows high school students the opportunity to earn college credit, also wants to provide these students with “The University Experience”. Students and their parents/guardians are invited to this one day on-campus visit to learn more about the Advanced Scholars program and how they can prepare now for a smooth transition to college. In the morning students participate in interactive, hands-on activities that will help them prepare for the Advanced Scholars program and their future as a college student. Afternoon sessions allow participants to become familiarized with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, including an informative campus tour and chance to visit with a college adviser. Who Should Attend?
Students who have applied to Advanced Scholars, those who are thinking about applying, parents/guardians, and school counselors are all welcome.

Register by March 8, 2010 to allow enough time for details, directions and a parking pass to reach you.
