No ACT scores or high school transcripts are required as part of the Advanced Scholars application process. UNL relies on the High School Approval Form as our cue that a student has your permission to enroll in a college-level course.
To provide added structure to the program, schedule a class period during the school day for your students to dedicate to their Advanced Scholars course.
Encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and interactions with UNL. This is a great time for students to “practice” the self-reliance they’ll need on-campus.
Check for the technical specifications of school computers your students may use. Blackboard and EDU (testing system) have minimum technical requirements for optimal functionality. Don’t hesitate to use the Helpdesks for support.
